Success for TennisLeagueNetworks First National Tennis tournament
Massachusetts- Tennis League Network (TLN) ran its inaugural ever USA tournament on Nov. 6-8 at Crandon Park Tennis Center in Miami, FL. It was happily attended by program players throughout the United States. The tennis was intense and the players all really relished the enjoyable Miami weather. champions were crowned in the Men’s 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 levels and Women’s Open Division.

“This was an absolute joy to run as the players were all about getting out on the tennis courts and playing some high-pressure tennis” said Steve Chagnan, TLN CEO. The majority of the players who attended advanced their individual playoffs to gain the right to take part in the USA tourney.

The 60 tennis participants most major cities, including Miami, Boston, DC, Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Denver, Orange County, LA and Philadelphia. tennis participants were paired in mini-divisions of 5 tennis participants, and played in a round-robin using a 10 pro set format (First to win10 games). The top two tennis participants from each mini-division moved onto a single elimination tourney with other skill-level mini-division qualifiers.
